I am a photographer and birth doula originally from Oregon, now living in East Texas with my three beautiful kids, husband, and dog Archie.
I've loved photography since I was a teen, and started taking photos just of friends and family as a hobby in 2014. The hobby quickly turned into a real gig, though the joy I get from each session is still the same! Lifestyle photos are my thing - I love capturing you and your people in a way that seems real and raw - so bring on the crazy kids!! Believe me, I get it! I'm a firm believer that the best photos come when we drop expectations and just embrace the moment; whatever that may look like for your family. When I am not chasing my munchkins around, I love an evening drive through the country, listening to a podcast with a good cup of coffee, shopping with my sisters, or trying out a new restaurant with my husband (big foodie alert).
You might have noticed that I am also a certified birth doula! After a social work degree and three very different births of my own, I discovered the beautiful world of birth work. I became obsessed with reading birth stories, learning about birth, watching videos on it (yes, I was that weird friend watching birth vlogs on Instagram)... I mean I just couldn't get enough. My sweet husband encouraged me to pursue that passion and that's just what I did! In April of 2023, I officially certified as a birth doula through DONA.
